How to grind concrete with bush hammer tools ?
1. If you are working indoors, open any windows or doors. If you are working in an existing, lived-in area, remove any furniture or other things that are blocking the floor. Tape foam padding with masking tape to protect all trim and wall edges around the floor. Cut down the padding with a hobby knife.
2.Use 270mm husqvarna redi-lock bush hammer plate to grind off the edges of the area. Place the flooring machine on the floor. Hold it with both hands. Pull the trigger and move the grinding wheel over the concrete surface to grind off the top few layers.
3. Perform several passes to expose the aggregate underneath, which will show when you begin to grind the stone to expose its interior. Continue until you are satisfied with the finished result. Keep the grinder constantly moving, as leaving it in one area will only grind in that area.
4.Sand the floor in the same way as the perimeter. Hold both handles of the disc grinder while you stand behind the machine with 270mm HTC bush hammer dish. Pull the trigger on the handles and hold the machine in your hands, guiding it as you go. Keep the machine constantly moving like a grinder to avoid digging too deep in one area.
5.Remove dust and debris with a broom and dustpan or shop vacuum. Start the polishing process by replacing the pad on the grinder with the first of a set of polishing pads, which is exactly the same as the grinding process, but with a smoother pad.
